I'm adapting Max Brooks' book not just because I'm a huge, HUGE fan (thank you Mommy for recommending it to me!) but also because I have been so dismayed by the previews of the "World War Z" movie starring Brad Pitt.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I can tell the only similarity it shares with the book "World War Z" is the title and zombies. There appears to be no reflections about the international reactions and efforts to eradicate zombies in this movie. It's just a dumb, dumb action flick about an American hunk who alone saves the world from zombies! It's dumb! It's arrogant! It's Americentric and it's COMPLETELY opposite in terms of message to what the book "World War Z" was trying to communicate.
