I like the "McDonalds Monopoly" game because, unlike Powerball or all those other lotteries you actually get something for your money. Even if you don't win anything (and, let's face it, you won't)... you'll still get some fried food and corn syrupy drink. Plus if you have a toddler who's a picky eater it's a great excuse to get him out of the house and have breakfast.
Still (and I know it's dangerous to get into this way of thinking)... if you DO want to win the "McDonalds Monopoly" game then Florida is a pretty good state to attempt to do it. It's the third most populous state in the US and has a massive amount of "McDonalds." There's a better than even chance that a winning property has found its way into a Florida "McDonalds." If you want to make a good road trip movie it could be about a couple of guys driving across Florida hitting every single "McDonalds" in an attempt to win the game. It would sort of be like Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle except with "McDonalds" instead of "White Castle."
Plus "McDonalds" would totally sponsor that movie! And if you write it well enough it might possibly be less reviled than Mac and Me.
